Fees & Insurance
Therapy is an investment to prioritize yourself and improve your quality of life.
Are you committed to making change in your life that will make an impact on your family, and for the generations that will come after you?
When you are ready to move forward, I want you to know that I take your commitment very seriously.
What does it mean to commit to therapy with me?
-
Online sessions via a secure telehealth platform for your convenience. Many of my clients are moms juggling little ones at home or scheduling sessions during their lunch breaks at work. Telehealth is just as effective as seeing a therapist in-person. Find out more about general FAQs here.
-
Specialized training in perinatal and reproductive mental health. The use of specialized EMDR Therapy.
-
Coordination with other wellness providers to support your healing journey.
-
Knowing that I keep my caseload small so that I can practice what I preach. I value the quality of my work and limit my weekly sessions so that I have plenty of time to engage in consultation and further training to advance my clinical skills, self-care to ensure I show up fully for each client, and time with my family that keeps me grounded.
-
Are you accepting new clients?I am! Please reach out and schedule a consultation to see if we are a good fit!
-
Are you seeing clients in person or telehealth?I am currently seeing clients exclusively online via a secure telehealth platform. Therapy online is confidential and convenient, allowing me to see clients throughout California and Oregon.
-
What are your fees? Do you accept insurance? These are great questions! Click here for information about my fees and why I do not take insurance. I have partnered with Mentaya to help clients use their out-of-network benefits and get reimbursed for their therapy with me. Please check the fees page to check out the reimbursement calculator.
-
What forms of payment do you accept? All major credit cards are accepted, as well as HSA/FSA cards. Payment is due at the time of session. Your credit card will be stored securely in the client portal, making paying for therapy very easy.
-
What is your cancellation policy? If given at least a 24 hour notice of cancellation, there is no charge to cancel a session. If a cancellation occurs within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment, the full rate of the session will be charged. No shows will also be charged at the full rate.
-
I see you are based out of San Diego. Do you see clients outside of that area?Yes! I am licensed to practice in the states of California and Oregon. Since I see clients virtually, I can see clients throughout either state.
-
Are babies allowed in sessions?Definitely! I am a perinatal (pregnancy and postpartum) therapist, after all! Your baby is always welcome in our sessions. You are welcome to feed your baby, interact with your baby, and tend to your baby's needs during our session time. I know it's not easy to find childcare for our sessions together, and I do not want that to be a barrier in you getting the care that you deserve. A lot of the work I do involves healing from traumatic experiences, and many clients feel more comfortable finding childcare for these sessions so they can truly focus on the work during our time together. This is something we can discuss further at our first appointment.
-
Do you only see women who are pregnant or postpartum in your practice?Great question. Although I specialize in perinatal and maternal mental health, I am happy to see anyone who may be in a different season of life (outside of family building) and feels like a good fit!
